Lindy’s cakes in Australian Bookazine

I have recently discovered that my ‘Storybook Cakes’ book has become a bookazine in Australia!  Basically, a bookazine is a book/part of a book in magazine format.  From what I understand Storybook Cakes has been used as the content of a bookazine published by Derwent Media called ‘Novelty Cakes’ and is currently on sale in Australia in newsagents and supermarkets and will be for about 3 months. I’ve not seen a copy, but I understand from the Cakes and More Blog that the extracts include all my usual tips, tricks and timesaver comments plus the bookazine includes a 2 page spread on cake decorating suppliers throughout Australia and a section called on the net, showing popular cake blogs and sites. So if you live in Australia and haven’t a copy of ‘Storybook Cakes’, why not pick up a copy at your local store?

It also looks as if my ‘Party Animal Cakes’ book is getting the same treatment in May in a publication called ‘Party Cakes’, so look out for that too.

Did you also know that I am the international guest demonstrator at the Cake seminar being held in Sydney 23rd – 28th August? If you like my work, why not come and join the fun! I will be demonstrating three different topics at the seminar, the demonstrations will include some of my exciting new work taken from my, soon to be released, wonky celebration cakes DVD – If my understanding is correct, everyone who attends the seminar will see me demonstrate a number of times, but of course please do clarify this with the organisers if you would like to see all three!
