Lindy generously donated the cake she made at Friday’s Wonky Cake Workshop to the John Hampden Infant School in Wendover. This is our local school and is where Lindy’s own children went many years ago. It is also the school that all of Lindy’s staff children past and present attend. What a treat!
As you know Lindy no longer takes commissions for cakes anymore preferring to concentrate on her teaching and writing. Recently I asked Lindy how much she would charge to create a cake “One million pounds” she replied giggling! Therefore this gorgeous cake by Lindy Smith, don’t you know, is quite a spectacular prize indeed!!
