    Hi I’m such a fan of cake decorating and your work! It’s amazing!!
    I’m 19 years old and want to start my own business in the cake baking & decorating industry one day! But I would like to start as soon as I can..
    I will be starting college again I’m September to do a cake decorating course.
    And was just asking for some tips on where to start and what to do next.

    Hi Yssis
    It sounds to me that you are doing absolutely the right thing by enrolling on a college course. You will hopefully learn all the basics you need. Then it will be a matter of practising and experimenting with what you have learnt. Enter competitions to stretch yourself, visit as many shows and exhibitions as you can and find other courses to attend on sugarcraft topics not covered by your course.
    Another tip I would give is not to set yourself up in business before you are ready, before you feel confident with your skill level or before you have established you own style or way of decorating cakes – it worked for me!!!

    hello I’m interested in cake decorating and baking I’m a full time mom with two young children and i would really love to carry it through but i live in Birmingham UK i was wondering if you no where i can learn to study baking and cake decorating and do you do courses if so how much and where are you located i really enjoy looking at your cakes they are amazing i wish i could be as successful as you look forward from hearing of you thank you Liz

    I suggest to see what your local colleges have to offer or of course you are very welcome to come down to one of my workshops, as we’re only 1 1/2 hours from Birmingham. Click here for our Summer programme, we will be publishing our Autumn schedule in a couple of weeks.

    Clears Throat; just ordered mine…that makes book #3. Pitty there are no classes in the USA or none in the future…I’d book’em ALL! I admire and appreciate you because you desire to teach others what you have crafted and learned. It takes a special person to want to SHARE the secrets! You could have kept all of that to yourself and sought only after the currency, you are truly the diamond in the ruff and I bless you for your heart of rubies & pink diamonds!!!!!

It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am in love with your books and your beautiful cakes!! your work has inspired me SOOOO much that im trying my best to come next year to take your courses.
