We’re counting down to the BSG International Sugarcraft Exhibition 2012, Telford. Only four more sleeps to go and we’ll be there!
Lindy is very excited and has actually just become a blur around the office – a colourful blur, mind, so we haven’t been falling over her – yet! Lindy’s excitement is purely down to the fact that she loves to meet all you lovely ‘Cake Friends’ and has been busy putting tonnes of ideas and inspiration into a fantastic demo that will ensure your cake decoration is contemporary and on trend. Think captivating, think compelling … then times it by ten! To ensure that everybody gets a chance to see Lindy in action, the British Sugarcraft Guild have thoughtfully kept 40 tickets back to buy on the day.
As we write, Jane and Victoria are chatting stock. Having asked Victoria what her ‘packing personality’ is, she’s run off shouting “Union Jack stencils and cutters!” All the patriotic-themed stencils and cutters have been flying off the shelves. We’ll have all sizes plus the large fluttering Union Jack cake top stencil that equally looks glorious on cupcakes and cookies too. Flag and bunting cutters are in stock, as well as some fabulous new musical note cutters – both sugarcraft and cookie.
In fact, there will be plenty at Telford this weekend to cater for everything we’ll all be celebrating in 2012. And also, we’ve got some lovely new stencils to unveil, featuring dragonflies and abstract waves – the stuff that dream sugarcraft is made of.
We’ve designated Jane ‘Head of Everything’ as she’s been making sure that we’ve got a really great selection of stencils, sugarcraft cutters and some cookie cutters already packed but do let us know if you would like anything special from the shop via our Facebook page as soon as possible! We wouldn’t like to disappoint anyone of you!
Oh there is lots to do. We thought we’d lost Graham, Lindy’s husband and Director of Operations, but he was found behind a stack of large cardboard boxes and is fine after a strong cup of tea and one of Lindy’s vegan chocolate cupcakes.
So really all you need to know is to head for Stand 17 in the Traders Hall or the host of lovely pink Lindy Apron-wearers. Lindy will be on hand to sign books and indulge in plenty of cake chat, plus we’ll be able to accommodate all methods of payment, whether cards, cash or cheque to make shopping that bit easier …
And you know it will just be lovely to meet you, or pick up from where we left off the last time …
See you there!
😉
