Flagging it up …! Lindy’s Cakes flag cutters and stencils

Union Jack fabulous flags and beautiful bunting!  Just as Her Majesty would launch a ship, Lindy is launching her new flag cutters to complement her range of Union Jack stencils.  As much as we will be adorning our jubilee celebrations, Olympic supporter’s parties, summer birthday parties and garden party get-togethers with flags and bunting, it is great to be able to put them on our cakes and cookies too.

Cake Friends we need no excuse to dream up cake decorating themes and sugarcraft ideas.  So when we’re prompted to ‘Celebrate 2012’ you can trust every single one of us will have our rolling pins at the ready!  And we’re off!  2012 really is the year for the UK and we’re starting the season with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  60 years in any job is very admirable. But smiling whilst you’re doing it is certainly worthy of a street party or two, with gorgeous cakes, cupcakes and cookies to delight the party-goers!

New Products: Union Jack Stencils and flag cutters

So that we can be prepared, Lindy has designed a complete range of flag cutters and Union Jack stencils which make a superb investment for all these types of occasions.

You may wish to put your own spin on the red, white and blue. Try venturing into fresh colours like lilac or teal, pink or green. Or perhaps bright primary and secondary colours are more your thing, as illustrated on the colourful T-shirt design below.

Keep it traditional – Red White and Blue

A lot of us will, however, stay traditional and opt for a red, white and blue. This really helps party-goers enter into the spirit of the occasion.
