Exciting news – hot off the press to share with you

It’s thrilling to be able to finally share with you some rather exciting news. I hope you are going to really love it and want to become involved. Let me begin at the beginning and recount the story of how it all happened.

The story of my exciting news

Two months ago an email landed in my inbox, okay there’s absolutely nothing unusual about that! However what was unusual was that this email came from a developer in a very large company, one you’re all heard and are very familiar with. The company in question is Facebook, and the email I received said:

“We’ve discovered your page and love what you do… We would love to speak with you and understand your journey as a video creator so far. Are you available for a brief phone call”

Wow, out of all the millions of business pages they could have chosen (65 million business pages was the last statistic I could find) Facebook wanted to speak to me!

Top Secret discussions

I couldn’t say no, now could I? I was intrigued, I wanted to find out why me and why they had made contact? A video call was duly set up and a confidentiality document signed. Yes, it’s all been very hush-hush! During the call, I was asked a whole barrage of questions about my business, how I earn my living, how I use Facebook live etc. A little later, after a few more emails going back and forth, I found out I’d been chosen as one of a small group of creators to test an exciting new product before anyone else. WOW!

This new pilot product

The new product is being called a supporters programme for creators. If you choose to become one of my supporters, part of my inner circle, you will have a say in the direction that everything goes. A bit like in the history of art, where artists such as musicians, painters, and sculptors received patronage from kings, popes and the wealthy but brought up to date for the 21st century. I love this idea of supporting creators and can see that it could ultimately, make a real difference to many peoples lives, including yours and mine. There is a small monthly cost, which I’m likening to buying me a cup of coffee, but in return, you will receive a heap of benefits.
