What makes you happy, makes us happy … and it really is just lovely to know that here at Lindy’s Cakes, we’re fulfilling our aim of inspiring you to share our love of sugarcraft. That’s why we’re grinning like Cheshire Cats to see this wonderful cake creation by one of our cake friends, Alison Warner.
Over quite a short space of time, Alison has built up her cake decorating confidence by attending a number of Lindy’s workshops. Here is what Alison has to say about her cake:-
“The cake was for one of my daughter’s friends, it was her 9th birthday and she was having a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. I was asked to make an Alice themed wonky cake. I remembered seeing those and the tea pot cake in Lindy’s Celebrate with a Cake book, which I use all the time for the madeira cake recipe and ideas and just thought I’d have a go. I was on Lindy’s kissing ball workshop last month and also did the Christmas bauble workshop last November so am feeling more confident about making a ball cake but had never attempted the teapot before , oh, and it was my first carved wonky cake too. I was really pleased with the way it turned out.Many thanks for the continuing inspiration Lindy!!”
