Event City, near the Trafford Centre in Manchester, is where it’s all happening this weekend! For cake lovers, or more precisely those of us that like to decorate our cakes it is definitely the place be. I love Cake International Exhibitions and have exhibited at Manchester since it started a few years ago. This year, as well as demonstrating in the demonstration theatres, I’ll also be up on the large open Cake International Theatre where you’ll be able to watch me for FREE!! I’m so excited…..
My demonstration will be based on my latest book ‘Lindy Smith’s Mini Cakes Academy’ and will show you the basics of covering mini cakes with sugarpaste as well as some useful decorating ideas. Do pop along at noon on Friday or Saturday, I’m sure you’ll learn a tip or two!
My books and a few of my own cake-decorating products, ones that I will be using in my demonstrations, will be available from my Authors Stand B14. Do come over and take a look, I’ll have cakes to inspire you too.
