What a lovely surprise to find out that my dragon cake has won the Cakes and Sugarcraft magazine’s iconic cakes competition. I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled and delighted I am.
The magazine describes me as “one of the UK’s best-loved cake decorators” which is both humbling and gratifying.

If you are not familiar with Cakes and Sugarcraft magazine, the last 5 issues of the magazine have been looking back over its first 100 issues. One cake from each issue was featured. The magazine’s readers were then asked to vote for their favourite cake, from the 25 featured. Then their favourite from the 5 finalists.

I am stunned and absolutely amazed! My dragon received nearly received 50% of the votes! A huge thank you goes out to everyone who voted.
Dragon cake reprinted
Instructions for My Dragon have now been reprinted in the current issue of the magazine – Issue 107 – together with an interview. How did I first become interested in sugarcraft and how has my career flourished since my first steps.
